Having driven numerous different types of cars, Binghamton, N.Y.'s Darl Ellis found a certain comfort level in the Street Stock division. He was so comfortable, in fact, that he shelved his Modified and raced to the track championship in the full-fendered ranks. Ellis picked up two feature wins and collected the title by a mere eight markers after a year-long tussle with Bill Trego. The personable Ellis says he is building a new car, and "is coming to take another championship" in 2005.
Behind runner-up Trego were Chris Strohl, Les Gillette, Dan Pompey, Brett Spoor, Carl Heater, Nick Petrilak, Jason Bartsch and Kurt Decker.
