RACE OF CHAMPIONS DIRT MODIFIED TOUR

WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 6TH  – FIVE MILE POINT SPEEDWAY – KIRKWOOD, NY

Location: 100 Francis Street, Kirkwood, NY  13795

Heading South On I-81 or 17 East from Elmira

Take Exit 2 on I-81 – (says Five Mile Point on Green highway sign) Immediately get into left hand lane and take first left onto Francis Street.  Track is located up the road about a ½ mile on right hand side of the street.

Heading North on I-81 from Scranton Area

Take Exit 2w (Industrial Park Exit) make first left hand turn onto Francis Street.  Speedway is located up the road about a ½ mile on right hand side of street.

Heading From Route 17W – Middletown

Take Exit 75 past Windsor, NY.  (this exit is not an off ramp exit rather a merge).  Road splits to the left.  Once you have gone under the Exit 75 sign, take first left hand turn onto Francis Street.  Speedway is located up the road about a ½ mile on the right hand side of street.

Grandstand Prices:    $20 for Adults – Two Adult Tickets for $35 (save $5)

                             Youth (ages 13-17) - $10; Seniors (62 and older) - $15

                             Kids 12 and younger always free!

          Family Five Pack:  $45 – 2 adult tickets, 3 youth, senior or kid tickets plus

                   5 hot dogs and 5 soda’s.  (must have group at ticket window)

 

Grandstand Gates:   5:30 PM      Practice:     6:20 PM    Race Time:          7:00 PM

 

 

Entry Info:         Modified Pre- race entry (received prior to Aug. 5th):  $15

                             Entry after above date:  $20 - Sportsman Entry:  $10 and $15

Qualifying Heats:       Modified Heats, Sportsman Heats, Consolations, Sportsman (40) Modified Feature (75) Lightning Cat Open.

Modified Feature:      75 laps – cautions to count between laps 25 and 50. (no more than 5 caution laps will be logged in a row).

 

Tire Information:       

          Tire Options:  American Racer Compounds

                             Right Rear Compounds: 48 or 50

                             Left Rear Compound:  44 or 48

                             May use minimum 33 front tire compounds.

Weight Info:      Big Block Modifieds – min. 2,500 lbs no tolerance. (’04 dirt legal)

                      Small Block Modifieds – min. 2,400 lbs. no tolerance. Max. 361 c.i.)

                      Sportsman (2 barrel carb.) aluminum wheels – 2,500 lbs.

                      Sportsman (2 barrel carb.) steel wheels – 2,450 lbs.

                      Crate motor on steel wheels – 2,300 lbs.

                      Crate motor on aluminum wheels – 2,350 lbs.

                      NO mixing and matching of rules.
