To The Five Mile Point Speedway Race Fans,

 

I would like to thank you and those who participated in the recent food drive at the 5 Mile Point Speedway.  Your food donation collected in four barrels came to nearly 700 pounds of food that will go out to our 28 food pantries in Broome County.  As you know, CHOW depends on the generosity of the residents of Broome County to keep our warehouse stocked and our pantries full.  With out the generous support of groups like yours we would not be able to continue to feed the hungry in our area.  With the economy not doing well we are in need of increasing amounts of donated food to keep up with the number of people using our pantries.  Broome County residents have always come through for us when we needed more food and your food drive added to the needed donations coming into our warehouse.

 

Thank you again for helping CHOW to stop hunger in Broome County.
