Presents "Roll The Dice Challenge" - SuperNationals Winner Could Collect $5,000
Pioneer
Pole Buildings Inc. of Schuylkill Haven,
Competitors
will have the option of posting a $20 "gambler's fee" prior to the
start of qualifying. If a driver rolls the dice and goes on to win
the feature, they will earn $5,000 - a $1,500 addition to the posted
$3,500 top prize - thanks to Pioneer Pole Buildings Inc. president Bob
Greene.

and a sub-plot for fans," event promoter Brett Deyo
said. "We'll be able to play up the drivers who took the challenge and
track their progress throughout the event."

The second
running of the Short Track SuperNationals, geared
toward the weekly racer, will pay $1,000 for fifth, $500 for 10th and $200
to take the green flag.
Sail
panels will be permitted. Competitors have the option of gasoline or methanol.
Any 13- by 92-inch Modified tire will be legal. 358-Modifieds will be granted a
weight break. A complete set of rules will be announced well in advance of the
event.
Drivers
will draw for heat-race starting positions, with a top-12 redraw for the
feature. In the interest of fan entertainment, there will be no time trials.
The first
edition of the Short Track SuperNationals, held in
2006 at N.Y.'s Afton Speedway, drew a field of 54
Modifieds. Mike Ricci of
The Race
of Champions Dart Pure Stock Tour, Four Cylinder Stocks and an open event for
Vintage Modifieds will complete the one-day event.
A
"split program" will be run, with support-division qualifying held
earlier in the afternoon, prior to the Modifieds hitting the track in the
evening.
