TOMMY BOY 20 FOR FACTORY STOCKS TO PAY TWO FIRST PLACE WINNING PRIZES - $150 TO THE WINNERS.
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
TOMMY BOY 20 FOR FACTORY STOCKS GETS EVEN BIGGER.
KIRKWOOD, NY…The second running of the Tommy Boy 20 for Factory Stocks will take place on Sunday, April 7th at Five Mile Point Speedway. In order for the most teams to compete in the popular event the speedway will be posting two first place prize winners for the event. Two winners will each earn $150 and there will be a full payout throughout the field.
This past fall the speedway held an open Factory Stock show that had some controversy over whether teams could run the racing tires like they do locally at Dunn Hill II Speedway. To avoid that issue for the spring event the speedway will do the following: Teams that run under the weekly Penn Can Speedway rules and utilize non-racing tires will be running for a best of class $150 in the Tommy Boy 20. The teams that want to run racing tires per the Dunn Hill II Speedway rulebook may do so and will also be eligible for the $150 winners share for that category of car.
This will allow the most teams possible to compete while awarding both the teams on racing tires and non racing tires to run for a lucrative first place prize. Both winners will receive a trophy and first place money along with being brought to victory lane for their winning interview and photos.
There will be qualifying heat races and one 20 lap feature to decide the two feature winners of this year’s Tommy Boy 20. Once again a full feature payout will be paid out.
