Ready For 61st Consecutive Season Opener

FIVE MILE POINT SPEEDWAY READY FOR 61ST
CONSECUTIVE YEAR OF RACING THIS SUNDAY, APRIL 10TH AT 4 P.M. KIDS 17 AND YOUNGER FREE!
Thanks to the partnership between Five Mile Point Speedway and Citadel Radio Stations in the southern tier all kids 17 years old and younger will be admitted in to the grandstand free this Sunday. With many area school districts on break next week it will be a great time for the area kids to take in a race at no cost.
After a successful practice day this past Saturday, April 2nd the speedway is ready for the 2011 racing season with the lid lifter this Sunday. The RoC Sportsman teams have already logged one event this season with the Cabin Fever event at the New Egypt Speedway (NJ) back on March 26th.

in second. Crambo now gets to take
advantage of competing at his home speedway this Sunday. A strong field of the
top northeast Sportsman teams are expected this Sunday from as far away

The Trackside Products RoC Street Stocks will begin their 2011 campaign with the event this Sunday. Denny Decker from Susquehanna, PA is the defending tour champion and will be looking to repeat as he won this event last season as well.
The popular 600 c.c. Modifieds will invade the quarter mile
this Sunday as well. Many of those
teams travel out of the states of
Prior to the racing on Sunday, Five Mile Point Speedway will have another practice day for the teams beginning at 2 p.m. on Saturday. Once again grandstand admission will be free with the donation of a canned good or non perishable food item to benefit CHOW.
