       RACE OF CHAMPIONS DIRT SPORTSMAN TOUR –EVENT #2

SUNDAY, APRIL 10TH   – FIVE MILE POINT SPEEDWAY – KIRKWOOD, NY

                            Location: 100 Francis Street, Kirkwood, NY  13795

Heading South On I-81 or 17 East from Elmira

Take Exit 2 on I-81 – (says Five Mile Point on Green highway sign) Immediately get into left hand lane and take first left onto Francis Street.  Track is located up the road about a ½ mile on right hand side of the street.

Heading North on I-81 from Scranton Area

Take Exit 2w (Industrial Park Exit) make first left hand turn onto Francis Street.  Speedway is located up the road about a ½ mile on right hand side of street.

Heading From Route 17W – Middletown

Take Exit 75 past Windsor, NY.  (this exit is not an off ramp exit rather a merge).  Road splits to the left.  Once you have gone under the Exit 75 sign, take first left hand turn onto Francis Street.  Speedway is located up the road about a ½ mile on the right hand side of street.

Grandstand Prices:    $12 for Adults

                                    $10 for Seniors (62 and older)

                                    Kids 17 and younger Free!

 

                                    Family Five Pack:  $30 – includes 2 grandstand adult tickets, 3 youth/sr. or child tickets plus 5 hot dogs and 5 soda’s.

 

Grandstand Gates:  2:00 p.m.            Practice:           3:15 p.m.          Race Time:       4:00 p.m.

 

Entry Info:                    Sportsman Pre- race entry:  $10

                                    Late Entry:  $15

Sportsman Feature:       40 laps – ($1,500 to win)

Tire Options:  Any American Racer 92 x 13 Compounds – No block tread or late model tires.

Rules:                           based ’04 dirt rules.  

Weight Info:     Sportsman (2 barrel carb.) aluminum wheels – 2,500 lbs.

                           Sportsman (2 barrel carb.) steel wheels – 2,450 lbs.

                           Crate motor on steel wheels – 2,300 lbs.

                           Crate motor on aluminum wheels – 2,350 lbs.

                           NO mixing and matching of rules.

Two Way Radios are not permitted – the speedway does use the raceceiver system and it will be operational.  It is not mandatory to have the one way frequency but is suggested if you have the raceceiver system.
