Guaranteed Starters Races To Start Five Mile Point Speedway's RoC Double-Header On July 13th

BINGHAMTON, NY - A pair of Guaranteed Starters Races will serve as the kick-off to Five Mile Point Speedway's anticipated Race of Champions Dirt Tour double-header this Weds., July 13.

A 10-lap Guaranteed Starters event for the RoC Dirt Modified South Tour will feature the drivers who failed to qualify for Big Diamond (Pa.) Raceway's "School's Out Special" 75-lapper on June 7. The RoC Dirt Sportsman drivers on the DNQ list from Big Diamond's June 28 event, race two of the inaugural '05 Tour, will take part in a 10-lap Guaranteed Starters event as well.

Both races will offer two guaranteed starting positions for that night's feature, serving as a safety net for those drivers in the event that they encounter problems in their heat and/or consolation races. A fast quarter-mile oval in Kirkwood, N.Y., Five Mile Point Speedway is set to host one of the summer's most exciting programs with the RoC midweek twinbill. Race time is 7:30 p.m.
