Fabrications By Tauschman To Present Mod

Dash-for-Cash Saturday At FMP

KIRKWOOD, NY - Race fans have one more reason to visit Five Mile Point Speedway this Saturday night, July 9.

In addition to a banner program of big-block/small-block Modifieds, FMP Modifieds, Street Stocks, Pure Stocks and the visiting 600cc Modifieds, Fabrications by Tauschman will add a Modified Dash-for-Cash to the lineup on Conklin Community Night. Race time at the Kirkwood quarter-mile is 6:30 p.m.

The 4-lap Dash will offer $200 to the winner, $100 for second, $75 for third and $50 for fourth, with the top four cars from Modified qualifying action in the starting field. The extra cash will serve as an incentive for drivers in the ultra-competitive Modified class to make it to the front early in the night.

"I have several customers at Five Mile Point and I really enjoy the racing there," said Ed Tauschman, Fabrications by Tauschman proprietor. "It's a good opportunity for me to give back to the fans and the racers." Based in Greentown, Pa., Fabrications by Tauschman offers a complete line of oval track speed equipment and is an authorized dealer for Teo-Pro cars and parts.
