BRIAN WEAVER COLLECTS $2,000 FOR HIS FIRST VICTORY OF 2010 AT FIVE MILE POINT SPEEDWAY.

KIRKWOOD, NY…Brian Weaver recorded his first Modified victory of 2010 at Five Mile Point Speedway on Wednesday night. The victory netted him $2,000.

The 30 lap Modified feature was a wild one as a number of cautions slowed the action throughout the feature event. Brian Weaver took the lead from Tom Oleski near the midpoint of the feature event and would never look back. Kevin Bates made a late race rally to take second place after dropping back to tenth at one point during the main. Oleski copped his best finish of the season in third with Jim Gabriel, Jr. and Nick Rochinski completing the top five.
