STEWART FRIESEN KEEPS THE BOUNTY ALIVE WINING HIS FIFTH MODIFIED FEATURE IN A ROW ON SATURDAY NIGHT.

KIRKWOOD, NY…The amazing Modified win streak of Stewart Friesen’s remained intact on Saturday night at Five Mile Point Speedway. Stewart won his fifth Modified feature victory in a row. The posted bounty will go on for one more week. A $1,000 will either be paid to Friesen if he wins or to another driver that defeats him.

Friesen took the lead on lap 14 from Brent Wilcox after starting in the 12^th starting spot. After taking over the lead Friesen would go on to win by over ten car lengths. For Friesen, the victory was his sixth out of his last seventh starts at the speedway dating back to last November when he won the $5,000 Southern Tier 100. His lowest finish this season is a 4^th place back on April 24^th.

P.J. Goodwin from Binghamton recorded his first ever Five Mile Point Speedway Sportsman victory on Saturday night. He took the lead on lap 17 of the 20 lap event.

Cody Decker from Kirkwood won his fourth Street Stock feature event of the season on Saturday. The victory was also his fourth out of his last five starts.

Mike Smith took the lad on lap 3 of the 20 lap IMCA Modified feature and went on for his first win of the season. Runner-up Scott Bennett collected his fifth consecutive second place finish. Bennett is the current point leader in the division.

Racing continues this Saturday night with the annual Don’s Automotive Mall “Pack the Track Night” grandstand admission is only $1.
